Hi Team,

I have finally been able to get the pmwebd coupled with grafana working and its amazing.

Based on the pointers received above:

1. I had to make a rpm for libmicrohttpd, since for the Amazon Linux release we use, the rpm was not available.
2. While making the spec file, there was unusual conflict for /usr/share/info/dir. Since I am deploying it on server, I did not create the doc rpms and bypassed the issue.
I would like to admit that it will probably be considered a hack.
3. After installing the libmicrohttpd rpm, I spun the rpms for pcp from the git repo, installed pcp-webapi and it all worked after that.

Thanks Nathan and Ken and the PCP team for all the help :)

Thanks,

Hi Ken and Nathan,

This pastie is the output of check-vm command.

As was correctly pointed out by both of you, qt-devel and libmicrohttpd-devel are missing.

Working to fix them. Will keep the team posted.

Thanks for the pointers, I will try both missing packages listed above and report back.

It'll be a missing or too-old libmicrohttpd-devel (>0.9.9 required) package
on the build machine ("libmicrohttpd-dev" package on Debian/Ubuntu).

cheers.
