I am pretty sure I have the first part of this working. It involves a new $pmda->connect_pmcd() method.

I went to document connect_pmcd and could not find any man page documentation for the PCP::PMDA package.

Do I need to be looking someplace other than PMDA.pm?

I've hacked together additional text for PMDA.pm (assuming the answer to my own question is "no"), and attached the generated man page.

Could those that grok Perl (and I am definitely not one of you) please check this out and let me know if it is useful before I spend any more time filling in the TODO parts.
