I have a central pmlogger server. On a normal host, I need to detect if the host is being logged by the remote pmlogger, and if not send a message to the remote logger to start logging me. I am assuming that pmcd knows it's clients, and was hoping that it can tell me. On 20/02/14 03:56, Frank Ch. Eigler wrote: Why do you need to know that? You can detect TCP traffic reliably at the OS level, but who or what exactly is on the other side of that connection, you cannot be sure. |
