Once upon a time we had (Mark wrote I think) a pmda that camped on the
end of a log file basically doing a tail piped into a grep selection to
accumulate counts of different sorts of log lines.
It also handled log rotation. Does anyone else remember this, or am I dreamin' again? If it did exist at one time, anyone know where to find it now? |
