one unix domain socket, each with its own userid/groupid+access
controls.
If that were required, it could be done via running multiple separate
pmcd's.

We would then need a separate socket in the file system for each. i.e. /var/run/pcp/pmcd.<pid>.socket. Is it even possible to run multiple separate pmcds? There is only one /var/run/pcp/pmcd.pid afaikt.
