I'm running 1.5.8 on x86_64 with Qt 4.6, and 1.5.8 on i686 on Qt 4.8
here and haven't been able to reproduce the problem.

Trying to get a minimal failing test case that you see, does it have
to involve multiple tabs?  If you run "pmchart -c Memory" and then do
File -> "Save View" does it exhibit the problem?
