I have a feature request for PCP GUI. On several occasions, I have started
pmlogger to collect various metrics. Then, at some point, I decided to
tweak some setting (e.g., the disk I/O scheduler). Now, it's pretty easy to
put an annotation into the log via the event metric type, but it's
impossible to display those in pmchart. For these events, I'd love to see a
vertical line across the graphs that indicates the time of when the event
occurred. Possibly having something clickable to display the event record
would be nice too, but I'd settle for just vertical lines.
