Summary: Perl packaging on gentoo
Product: pcp
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P5
Component: pcp
AssignedTo: kenj@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: kenj@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
CC: pcp@xxxxxxxxxxx
Estimated Hours: 0.0
Classification: Unclassified
So far we're not embracing the odd gentoo packaging regime, so we're building a
tarball. Installation involves unpacking this with / as the current directory.
This works well for everything except some of the Perl bits ... specifically
MMV.so is not linked with libpcp_mmv.so.1 ... if you run "make install" from
the src/cpan directory of the source distribution, then the resulting MMV.so
_is_ linked with libpcp.mv.so.1 and the QA tests work.
