PCP uses the interface names that are exposed by the Win32 PDH APIs
(used by perfmon), with spaces replace by underscores as Frank said,
so something along these lines:

$ pminfo -f -a 20110414 network.interface.in.bytes

network.interface.in.bytes
    inst [0 or "Broadcom_BCM5708C_NetXtreme_II_GigE_[NDIS_VBD_Client]"] value
228847122389
    inst [1 or "Broadcom_BCM5708C_NetXtreme_II_GigE_[NDIS_VBD_Client]__2"]
value 8600133

cheers.
