I've done it in parallel in a new branch in a local tree ... all commits
merged cleanly except 22cadfcd74927f1c9eff12b97fd58913b7e6f2c5 which has
some minor pollution from the PDU_OVERRIDE1 culling in the pcp4 branch,
and for which the fix is pretty obvious.

We can diff my tree with Mark's when done to make sure we're on the same
page.

Makepkgs completed and images installed on ia32 Ubuntu.

Started a QA run (cannot run any of the remote group at the moment
because I only have one machine where I am for the next few days).
