Greetings Tore,
We'll need a little more information from you before answering this ...
specifically can you please send the following ...
1. in the same directory as the cisco PMDA, there should be a "probe"
executable ... you'll need some command line arguments (depending on how
your cisco is set up), but it should be obvious from the usage
Usage: probe [-U username] [-P passwd] [-x port] host
which is a subset of the pmda's usage and arguments. The output from
the probe command will help.
2. Any information from the /var/log/pcp/pmcd/cisco.log file (or the
equivalent if this is not a Linux host).
3. Output from $ pminfo -f cisco
4. Output from the cisco's "show int" command
Unfortunately, the cisco agent is exposed to differences between cisco
product models and versions of the firmware ... and amongst the PCP
development team we have access to a very small subset (I for example
don't have access to a cisco of any sort).
The good news is that the differences are usually minor and easily
accommodated once we see what the output from "show int" looks like.
Cheers.
