Yes, I think so.  localhost might be commonly used in the vanilla PCP
installation case (local machine, default install, basic setup)... not
as config.default, perhaps, but certainly as an easy way to get useful
data (rather than just kernel.all.load ;)

Yes, I think so.  Possibly/probably/optionally using pmloggers existing
control file mechanism?
