So do you think pmlogconf should _always_ be run with the hostname of
the target system where pmcd is running (and localhost as the not very
likely default)?
So the "set of hostnames" would involve iteration (possibly outside
pmlogconf) to run pmlogconf once for each host in the set and generate
an appropriate pmlogger config for that host?
I'm working on a probing syntax at the moment ... more when I have a
proof of concept.
