If a Win pmchart session is opened with a pre-configured view, before some
metrics can actually be collected and displayed (typically because they're not
yet available, eg. a host has not been started), those metrics are often never
displayed when they subsequently are being collected.
This issue was requested following a Skype chat:

data for an instance - its displayed as gaps in the chart ... we just need to
be able to handle a "leading gap"
