Hmm, thats a shame.  If theres anyone else (to the people
on the list) who has access to one, please let me know as
that would greatly speed up this process.  There may even
be one or two AIX machines lurking at SGI still...?

OK, I'll be in the office in a couple of hours and available
on IRC intermittently throughout the day - talk to you then.
To start with, could you email me the output from running
"sh -x configure" on your AIX machine?
