As a bit of a teaser, or motivation if you'd like to hack on it,
here's what kmchart running natively on Windows looks like:

I've not had much time to work on it for several weeks, so it's
not progressed much since the initial proof-of-concept... still
alot of work to be done there.  Sure looks alot nicer than that
remote X display version though (the fonts look correct for one
thing!).
