Can you give some more details as to why?

I just want the --prefix option to work correctly. When I run ./ configure --prefix=/foo, I expect *all* of the package's files to go under /foo. IMHO that's kinda the point.

 I don't think this
is going to work as you'd expect - in particular pmGetConfig(3)
will not like this, as it (kinda has to) hard-code the pcp.conf
location.

Maybe I could teach pmGetConfig how to find pcp.conf?
