I'm getting ready to release pcp 2.6.0. Current snapshot in available
as 2.5.99 from ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/pcp/download/dev.
Here is the list of changes since 2.5.0 - numbers are SGI Bugworks
numbers and provided for reference purposes only:
- 947510 - don't try to write into the string returned by strerror
- 947781 - add functions to implement asynchornous communication
with pmcd and functions to implement application main loop
- 948548 - Fix buffer overflow in linux proc_pmda. Found by Ken McDonell.
- 948551 - Update pcp configure and build infrastructure
- 948799 - Move telnet-probe to oss part of pcp
- 952664 - pcp-open rpm "provides" too much - make it provide only
the same version as base pcp
- 952932 - pcp-open RPM requires libpcp.so.2 but doesn't provide it
- 953015 - Promote libpcp_pmc to DSO
- 953875 - Miscellaneous source tree nitpicks by Ken McDonell.
- 953876 - Use swap.pagesin/pagesout instead of swap.in/.out in pmstat
- 954035 - Update macosx build infrastructure and port to MacOSX 10.4
