After much digging, QA test 633 has finally unearthed a lurking bug
in libpcp ... this is only visible on platforms where native byte
order != network byte order, and under normal circumstances is most
unlikely to be tickled.

However the attached patch to src/libpcp/src/pdu.c will correct the
problem and make QA test 633 pass reliably, even on modern ia32
systems.

Thanks Sonic for making me investigate this.

I expect Mark will pick this up in the next spin of the "dev"
source on oss.sgi.com.
