That's correct. David can you please let us know if you're using the
latest src from ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/pcp/download/dev/

Regarding disk stats with 2.4 kernels, there is a known PCP issue
for 2.4.x kernels for x <= 19 that do not have the sard patch.
If possible, either upgrade to 2.4.20 or patch your kernel with
the sard patch (ask if you need it). 

The problem only exists for a small range of 2.4.x kernels and we'd
rather not have to fix it if possible since there are reasonably
acceptable workarounds available.
