[PATCH, RFT] starfire net driver update

To: Netdev <netdev@xxxxxxxxxxx>
Subject: [PATCH, RFT] starfire net driver update
From: Jeff Garzik <jgarzik@xxxxxxxxx>
Date: Thu, 03 Mar 2005 22:58:33 -0500
Cc: Linux Kernel <linux-kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, ionut@xxxxxxxxxx

The starfire net driver was just updated to include the firmware that Adaptec kindly GPL'd for us a while ago. The firmware is needed to enable zero-copy.

Can someone with this card give it a test, to make sure all is still working?

Particularly, if you could test an application that uses sendfile(2) [zero-copy], that would be useful.

        Jeff
