I've taken the liberty of whipping up a long-winded patch to wireless.17.h in
an
attempt to concretely specify what drivers need to do for quality. I do this
so
that all ambiguity about signal quality will hopefully be gone, and so that
both
driver writers and user-application writers know their responsibilities.
Please
look it over and comment (diff attached). Its a bit long, but I feel that it
has to be to adequately explain the system. I also feel that if its separate
from wireless.h, people won't be bothered to go find the documentation, though
if you feel strongly that it shouldn't be there then its fine to move it
elsewhere.
