Hi,

Why couldnt you just modify the parameters in /proc?

-Increase the overflow threshold (you actually hardcode this)
/proc/sys/net/ipv4/route/gc_thresh
-decrease the gc timer
/proc/sys/net/ipv4/route/gc_timeout
