Yes, I understand that.  Thanks for clearing that out.  I was just
wondering if there was a reason to do it differently in IPv6.  IPv4
routing table entry has a field for the protocol value but IPv6
doesn't.  But if it's just not implemented, that's okay.

What do you mean?  I missed your point, I mean if the value is not
stored, what protocol I use doesn't really change anything.  Right?
