Well, we have a core team consisting out of four people.  Rusty created
that once, to divide the task of maintainership between people who have 
committed themselves to netfilter/iptables development over a long time.

This is also what you find respectively in the MAINTAINERS file.

But as I understood from the past, you prefer to receive fixes / updates
through a single person (let's say with a gateway functionality).  If
this is what you are asking for, I'd be happy to volunteer.
