Hi,
I have 3 hosts as follows
h1------h2------h3
h1 is running both ipv4 and ipv6 stacks
in linux-6.2,kernel 2.4.0, and is connected to h2.
h2 is running both ipv4 and ipv6 stacks
in linux 6.2, kernel 2.4.0, and is connected to h1 and h3.
h3 is running ipv4 only stack and is a
windows pc.

i need host h1 (ipv6) to communicate
with host h3 (ipv4), and vice-versa.

i downloaded nat-pt translator software
for linux from the following web site
www.ipv6.or.kr/english/download.htm
and am running the software in
h2.

Can somebody please answer my
questions:-
1)
the addresses assigned as of now
to the interfaces are in the form
fe80::2d0:b7ff:fe2c:acf/10.
Is this a full ipv6 address?
how do i assign ipv6 addresses
to h1 and h2 ??

2)
what prefix do i set in the translator
software?

3)
how do i test if h1 and h3 are
communicating? i mean, what
tools do i use? does ping6
or traceroute6 work?
if so, how do i use them?

I would greatly appreciate any
kind of help/pointers/suggestions.

Thanking you in advance
Best Regards,
ravi
