I can confirm that these compile fine for me (after adding a #include <time.h>
to
main.c), debian woody + 2.4.3 (in the recent past I've also tried this on
on redhat 6.2 + 2.3.x)

I can also confirm that this version did connect to the Mbone, and learn all the
DVMRP routes being presented to my gateway (although there were unrelated
problems
in our MBone ISP that reduced the number of routes being advertised to our
gateway by half).

Also, I remember running into the Cisco interoperability issues on mrouted
versions
prior to 3.9 beta-3 (which is the reason for beta 3).

cheers,
karthik
