FYI, a Lockmeter patch (v1.5) is now available for the 2.4.18, 2.5.8, 2.5.10,
and 2.5.17 kernels.  Lockmeter v1.5 for 2.4.18 additionally supports the
"mips" (32-bit) architecture, as well as the existing i386, ia64, mips64,
alpha, and sparc64 architectures.

Unfortunately, neither "mips" nor "mips64" builds for 2.5.8/10/17, so
Lockmeter is ineffective for these 2.5.x kernels.
