Thanks. I down loaded LKCD from your website....the version 3.0 I tried using it but the tar file had a crc error. I downloaded it again and faced the same problem again I also tried installing the rpms in which I got a message reporting that no packages found. Please let me know where I went wrong. And if the available material has been corrupted..... when may I access it again. And if the available material has > been corrupted..... when may I access it again. Hi, I just downloaded the lkcdutils-1.0.tar.gz and lkcdutils-1.0-1.i386.rpm files from the 3.0/lkcdutils directory. I was able to untar the source tarball and install the rpm. Based on this, it appears that there must be a problem in how you downloaded the files. I downloaded the files via web browser. If you used FTP, make sure that you download the files in binary mode. Also, what is the architecture of your target machine. Regarding the tar archive, it has been compressed, so either uncompress it (gunzip) or use the -z option.
