I started a kdb-kernel (2.2.14) on the test-machine (I can stop it by pressing break). Now I'd like to remote-debug. A serial connection is established (tested by minicom) with a null-modem cable and the test machine is started with an append in liloconf "gdb gdbttyS=0 gdbbaud=9600" : correct ?? When I then start gdb (target remote /dev/ttyS0) on the remote-machine nothing happens. Can anyone please give me a hint what I'm doing wrong ? Thanks in advance ! I think there should be enough there to get you through this, but if you are still having problems, ask again, and I will try to help.
