I've just put a kernprof patch out there that may help you: http://oss.sgi.com/projects/kernprof/download/v2.6 It has all the deficiencies of earlier versions, and additionally some of the ia64 functionality no longer works right - e.g., call graph profiling. And, as always, it doesn't support all the architectures. I've also put a new set of kernprof commands (kernprof, kptop) out there: http://oss.sgi.com/projects/kernprof/command/kernprof-1.6.tar.gz John Hawkes
