I am planning to do some thesis work on kernprof. I am new to Linux. I have installed the Redhat 8. 

Now to Start work on kernprof, 

what it the latest full version available(please inclued the patches if need)? where can I download the software  and how to install?

Is there any detail documentaion available more abt kernprof ? 

you help is greatly appreciated!
