An "UNKNOWN_KERNEL" is outside the range of known kernel addresses, and is not in the range of module addresses or firmware addresses. My guess is that this "UNKNOWN_ADDRESS" *is* one of those things, but drivers/char/profile.c isn't properly computing the address ranges of those "non-kernel" entities. Are you seeing a large value for UNKNOWN_ADDRESS? If not, then ignore it. I'll try to figure this out, as time permits. John Hawkes
