No, I doubt that would work. Take a look at: http://oss.sgi.com/projects/kernprof and go to "download", then "v2.4", and look at profile-0.11-2.4.17-O1.patch. That might be close to what you want. I think that's the full K3 O(1), as I recall. It fixes a small shortcoming in the "-r" (reset) logic in the kernel kernprof code. http://oss.sgi.com/projects/kernprof I haven't produced a v0.12.1 for all possible 2.5.x kernels.
