A few months ago I did some investigations into Linux profiling utilities and summarised my results. For a number of reasons I finished up using a tool called sprof. It's not that I thought kernprof was bad, just that I needed something to work on 2.2.* kernels. What do you want to profile? If you'd like some more info, let me know. Cheers, Dave
