America the Beau= tiful,=20 Nov 9th, on our unrealistic beauty-obsessed culture and the conseque= nces=20 it creates.  The film follows the career of Gerren Taylor, mode= l=20 superstar at age 12 and burnout by age 15.  Though the film cer= tainly=20 presents a valuable message, ranting against unrealistic beauty=20 expectations has only increased for the last 50 years.  Will we= ever get=20 a point where we can go, "OK, got the message.  Are we rea= dy to move on=20 now?=94

Learn to Read Tarot Cards, Nov 8th, $125.  Tarot cards are = the=20 vehicle, and what you get out of it is discovering your intuition, n= ew=20 perspectives, and a glimpse of the grand truth.  Gotta wonder -= if this=20 (or any other system) really does work, then why are not the=20 practitioners the smartest/richest/healthiest folks around? Organization: French-American Chamber of Commerce, working to spread the love= =20 between our two nations.  This group is mostly full of business= people,=20 Francophiles, and ex-pats yearning for the mother country.  Thi= s group=20 provides invitations to social & cultural events, trade assistan= ce=20 services, and access to French officials when you need it.

Here's what to do:

Washington Par= k=20 Arboretum.  If you don't quite have the ambition to drive u= p to the=20 pass for a day hike, this is a great getaway for the city dwellers.&= nbsp;=20 There are over 20,000 trees on 230 acres, and many of them are just= =20 bursting with color right now.  People probably take more pictu= res here=20 than at =20 There's the Qwest Field Tour, $7.  When you go to Qwest Field for a gam= e, it's=20 natural to wonder how the facility operates.  At this tour, the= y're able=20 to take you backstage where normally only maintenance men and=20 million-dollar jocks go.  Also, there's the Boei= ng=20 Tour.  So many folks work at Boeing, paying to go see a tou= r of this=20 place is a bit of a mind flip.

. =20 With fall weather, it's the mood to hunker down in a wool sweater wi= th=20 some cold weather comfort food.  Some good places to try are Pike Place Chowder,=  =20 which lives up to its reputation as a premiere chowder house; the Essential Baking Company= =20 for artisan breads; and Soup Daddy Soups for hearty sandwiches and gumbo.
