Hi,

I'm not really sure if this is the = correct place to=20 send this question so I apologise in advance if I am breaking any=20 etiquette.

Is there a way to create an object (say = for=20 collision purposes) but not have it render at all (i.e. totally invisile = not=20 transparent).
My = programmer says such an=20 option does not exist.
I handle the modelling end of things in = our project=20 so I'm not thoroughly familiar with = all the=20 sutleties. I've spent the past few days searching the documentation but = to no=20 avail.
It seems to me such an option should = exist but have=20 so far drawn a blank on how to achieve this.
I'd greatly appreciate a nudge in the = right=20 direction.

Thank you,

I have an array that defines all the coordinates of the mesh and an array that defines the relationship between elements. I have examined using quad mesh, as the elements from the finite element code are quads. The problem I can't seem to decipher is; a typical finite element code will display a unique color for every element. Often two or more colors will be drawn in a single element. Is there a way to create a quad mesh or anything similar that will allow the color to be set on a element by element basis?
