Some comments in the mailing lists lead me to think that Inventor programs must be linked to a Motif 1.2 library while from others I get the impression that Motif 2.1 may be used. Under what circumstances may I use Motif 2.1? I am running Red Hat Linux 9.0 on an AMD Athlon. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone know of difficulties in using libFL_i386.a (the default font library) and the gcc3 compiler? libFL_i386.a was apparently compiled with gcc 2.96 on redhat linux 7.1 while I am using gcc 3.2.2 on redhat linux 9.0.
