My guess is that the problem is FAM on FreeBSD, but I don't know. If you run ldd (or the FreeBSD equivalent?) on .../auto/SGI/FAM/FAM.so, it links with libfam.so? nm -Bo FAM.so | fgrep FamErrlist says FamErrlist is undefined, but libfam.so | fgrep FamErrlist comes up empty? I don't think FamErrlist is used, but I think it should be a global symbol in libfam.so. --Rusty -- Source code, list archive, and docs: http://oss.sgi.com/projects/fam/ To unsubscribe: echo unsubscribe fam | mail majordomo@oss.sgi.com From owner-fam@oss.sgi.com Sun Jul 21 19:06:36 2002 Received: from oss.sgi.com (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by oss.sgi.com (8.12.5/8.12.5) with ESMTP id g6M26aRw006848 for ; Sun, 21 Jul 2002 19:06:36 -0700 Received: (from majordomo@localhost) by oss.sgi.com (8.12.5/8.12.3/Submit) id g6M26aV4006847 for fam-outgoing; Sun, 21 Jul 2002 19:06:36 -0700 X-Authentication-Warning: oss.sgi.com: majordomo set sender to owner-fam@oss.sgi.com using -f Received: from arnie.adacel.com.au (arnie.adacel.com.au [203.36.26.147]) by oss.sgi.com (8.12.5/8.12.5) with SMTP id g6M26URw006815 for ; Sun, 21 Jul 2002 19:06:31 -0700 Received: (qmail 7548 invoked from network); 22 Jul 2002 02:14:50 -0000 Received: from proton.adacel.com.au (root@203.8.85.90) by arnie.adacel.com.au with SMTP; 22 Jul 2002 02:14:50 -0000 Received: from hera.wodonga.adacel.com.au ([192.168.75.251]) by proton.adacel.com.au (8.8.8+Sun/8.8.8) with SMTP id MAA02142 for ; Mon, 22 Jul 2002 12:06:58 +1000 (EST) Received: (qmail 17747 invoked from network); 22 Jul 2002 02:06:39 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO selene) (192.168.75.53) by hera.wodonga.adacel.com.au with SMTP; 22 Jul 2002 02:06:39 -0000 Message-ID: <015f01c23125$078e1c20$354ba8c0@wodonga.adacel.com.au> From: "Michael WARDLE" To: "FAM OSS Mailing List" Subject: [fam] FAM 2.6.9 available Date: Mon, 22 Jul 2002 12:11:02 +1000 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2600.0000 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2600.0000 Sender: owner-fam@oss.sgi.com Precedence: bulk Hi FAM 2.6.9 in now available.
