The purpose is to remove never-supported feature and code from the source in preparation of pushing the csa kernel module to community. These record types are not supported in Linux CSA and thus will be cleaned up: multi-tasking record (MT) multi-PE application record (MPP) NQS record tape record data migration record (DMIG) socket record (SOCKET) These record types will be supported: csa base record (CSA) memory record (MEM) I/O record start-of-job record (SOJ) end-of-job record (EOJ) configuration record (CFG) workload management record (WKMG, i.e., LSF) The revision number of current code is 02400 and the new revision number will be 03000. The revision number is already carried in the 'ah_revision' field of 'struct achead'. Please speak up if you think any of the to-be-gone record types should be preserved! Thanks! Best regards, - Jay Lan
