From the src/lib/expat-lite/expat.html file: Copyright (c) 1998, 1999 James Clark. Expat is subject to the Mozilla Public License Version 1.1. Alternatively you may use expat under the GNU General Public License instead. So much for ST's "inappropriate license" argument. Jim Jagielski from ASF wrote on slashdot (http://slashdot.org/apache/01/02/16/1454202.shtml): The Apache Web Server Group believes very strongly in the BSD license. The State Threads MPM that Mike has created uses NSPR (under the MPL 1.1) for some of its functions. We just won't accept any patches to our code that are contributed as MPL 1.1. So the State Threads MPM must be left out of the tree. Oh well, it's all moot now anyway.
