lockstat application in 2.6.x kernels

Hi,

I have been trying to build the lockstat application in various distros 
of 2.6 kernel, namely RHEL4U4 and Suse10 (and the corresponding vanilla 
kernels as well). I have applied the latest lockmeter patch tried to 
build the application but it doesn't compile. Is lockstat  supported in 
2.6.x (preferably .16 or later)?
