Hi, I was trying to use lockmeter on vanilla 2.6.16 kernel, on FC4. I got the lockmeter patch for the 2.6.16 kernel from : ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/lockmeter/download/v2.6/patch.2.6.16-lockmeter-1.gz And could successfully compile the kernel and boot into it. I see the /proc/lockstat file too created but couldn't make any sense of the output. Next i got the lockstat utility from ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/lockmeter/download/lockstat-1.4.11.tar.gz I compiled and when trying to run it get the following SEGFAULT lockstat[3280]: segfault at 00000000d08340e0 rip 00000030d0672270 rsp 00007fffffcacd88 error 4 This error 4 corresponds to OS error code 4: Interrupted system call So, are there any known issues using it, or anybody has seen it earlier ? Please let me know if you need any more help. Thanks, Alok P.S. : I am not registered to the list, so please keep me cc'ed |
