This is true, we are overdue. Sorry about the delay. Getting Intel BIOS's to
not clear memory on reboot
has been a challenge. We've had success on some manufacturer's BIOS and are
working
on the others. In parallel with the Intel work, we've started on the alpha.
This should be easy for the
core saving part as we know that it doesn't clear memory with proper setting of
console variables.
However, we have quite a bit of work to do on the crash analysis tool for
alpha. Once we can fully support an
architecture, the code will be made available.
Meanwhile, we will run the sample program you have on an Intel box that has the
"good" BIOS
and see what we can come up with.
