Absolutely. We already have a ccNUMA port for the SGI mips64 machines,
which is part of Linux 2.4. Linux does not have the most up to date
copy of the architecture specific parts of the mips64 source, the
up to date tree is maintained on oss.sgi.com with cvs access.
