You need to download the gcc source (e.g., from the gcc website) for that particular version of gcc, then apply the patch, then rebuild gcc.
 
Alternatively, you might try simply installing the binaries for gcc 3.2 and see if that works as-is.  (Besides, the patch on the kernprof website is only for 2.96.)

OK, I think I need the gcc patch -
the system crashed during reboot.
Just pull the gcc source over and
it doesn't look like a trivial thing to
me.
 
Is there any kind soul who can give
me some pointers such as HOWTO
regarding to how to apply this patch
and recompile gcc ?
