Hi,

i have kernprof 1.1 running with linux 2.4.0-test10 and the appropriate
patch.
i don't seem to be able to change the sampling frequency.

for the example on the man page
kernprof -d time -f 1000 -t pc -b

i get the error message
kernprof: frequency 1000 is out of range.

with the kernprof -s command i can see that the sampling frequency is 100

if i do
kernprof -d time -f 100 -t pc -b

i still get an error message
kernprof: frequency 100 is out of range. (and for 1 as well !)

if i do
kernprof -d time -t pc -b
kernprof seems to run fine with the default 100 samples/sec.

Any suggestions on what the problem is ?

Jerome
