One of the biggest hurdles I have with being a working parent is the lack of time to squeeze exercise into my schedule. All the stay at home moms I know act like it's so easy to go do a few miles mid-morning.
I really enjoy walking in the evenings and my toddler (still small enough for a stroller) loves it too, but I'd love an online group of ladies for the extra motivation.
Anyone interested in being in a MapMyWalk/Run group with me? I'll like all your walks/runs and tell you you're doing fantastic, if in exchange you'll tell me to get my ass off the couch if I don't log something for a couple days. or has them well-I faced this same problem but I eventually found a Mom's Run This Town group in my area. There are groups of moms that run at all times of the day so the runs/walks fit into basically any schedule. I found it best to just get up at 5am and put in my 3 miles 3-4x a week. It sucks, it's not easy, I'm tired. BUT I know when I get to the meeting place at 5:30am, I'll have 4-7 other moms in the same boat and we motivate each other. You will find something that works for you, just stick to it. You'll never say "I wish I hadn't run today," but you will feel bad when you don't.
