??just read assumptions. While what you say is pretty much valid, you can't provide sources for it since there are none. The only source in regards to C is the standard document which (while it is in many cases obvisious) doesn't state why some things are the way they are but just states that they have to be that specific way. So beeing that nit-picky about Vlad from Moscow's answer is inappropiate.
