                      I've noticed that KDB early feature didn't work
with 2.6.16 kernel version
on Intel Tiger and Bull NovaScale machines.
After a brief study, I think that Ihave found the origin of the problem
and the following patch may correct it.

Could you please consider and integrate this latter on KDB main branch ?
